April -August 2020
At this challenging time, we were thinking of a way to support our culinary partners and other small businesses that we enjoy. We are all trying to do our part and stay in but we do have to eat. Each week we will be offering a little something different in a box (okay maybe a bag) and it will be delivered for free to your doorstep. Each Food Tour To Go will be curated by award winning Niagara Culinary Tours and will include items from our food tour partners and a few friends that we love but are a little far for us to go to on our regular walking tours but we know you will love them too.
Local food brings a sense of community and with that social connection. Through this new project we strive to bring our culinary community to you. Our weekly offerings may bring a little comfort food and we hope you will discover something new in your own backyard. We are so lucky to live in Niagara where we are surrounded by spectacular food and wine in abundance. Right now we need to show our local businesses a little love so this is our way to connect us all and lessen the distance that many of are feeling.
Bonus: With each purchase you will receive a 20% Niagara Culinary Tours discount code so you can join us on one of our future walking tours.

Each week we feel like our boxes just keep getting better and better. We have added a bit of produce, this week from the Victory Gardens at AG Farms. We call it our AG Inspired Cusine garden grab bag.
Also from Chef Cory Linkson,of Ag Inspired Cuisine we have a a Sweet Chili Heat dressing. This can be used for dipping spring rolls or coconut shrimp or with a cucumber salad with lots of cilantro and peanuts.
Perfect for the warm nights from the kitchen of Chef Chef William Brunyansky of Karma Kameleon Gastropub we have a triple melon gazpacho.
Another business new to us this week is Best Scones Ever! You will love this Blueberry Spice scone with just a hint of cardomam.
You have been asking for some healthy snacks so here we have it. Fonthill Foodie Julie Gledhill, NNCP Nutritionist, is making some peanut butter stuffed dates with dark chocolate chips. They are devilishly good!
A product that we can't live without these days are beeswax wraps. It really saves on saran wrap and keeps things like leftover cheese fresh. Well that is if you have any leftovers! We are pleased to include a small beeswax wrap from Sweet Bee Beeswax. Made locally, these can be purchased from Walker's Country Market in Niagara on the Lake.
